ASSISTED STRETCHING
Elke has been assisting students for over 15 years. She trained with Priti Robyn Ross on the art of assisting.

This is a gentle technique that suits each person's needs and goals. One-on-one session gives individual attention with hands-on assists in many yoga postures and stretches. Finish with a "Reiki Massage " on neck, shoulders, scalp and feet with essential oils.

WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

WHAT IS ASSISTED STRETCHING?


In simple terms, assisted stretching is a technique where one person helps another person stretch. This is a gentle technique; A typical session will include an assessment of an individual’s physical health. A therapist conducting a session will look at a person’s range of motion, flexibility, limitations, alignment, pain and discomfort levels. They will also take into account their client’s goals. A few of the most prominent benefits of stretching include increased range of motion and flexibility, improved circulation, improved posture, stress relief and pain relief.
