Class Registration
Most classes are drop-in with no need to register. The exception is the All Levels Vinyasa with Elke. Registration is recommended to guarantee a spot. Special events also need registration.


Additional Information
Please bring a mat, towel and water. Come 10 minute early. If you have questions or concerns we will be happy to answer your questions before class.

Policies
With respect and fairness to you we ask you to please honor these studio polices. We honor  the loyal students who have practiced at The Loft for years; to be fair to everyone these policies will apply to everyone without exception. Please don’t ask for special treatment.

1   Class Cards and Check in
    Check-in procedure to be done before you walk in and put your mat down: 
    1) Sign the class sheet
    2) Have the instructor check your card or take payment.
    3) Instructor will place card back in card-box


2  Class Card Expiration

    All new class cards will expire 6 month after purchase. No Exception.

3   Yoga Mats Rental FREE

4   Belongings
    Only yoga mats, water and towels allowed in the studio during class. 
    All other things with be stored before class: bags, jackets, cell phones, keys etc. 


5   No Cell Phones During Class 
    Unless you have special circumstances please take a break from your screen.

Cancelation Policy: 24 hrs notice please. Your card will be marked, or you will be required to pay, if you cancel within 24 hrs of the class or do not attend. Transfers to other students are allowed.

Class Descriptions


VINYASA     Vinyasa is defined as a "breathing and movement system." Expect postures with breath awareness. You'll move through Sun Salutations to unique sequences. Pick your level.

VINYASA LEVEL 2/3  A more advanced Vinyasa practice. Build towards stamina, strength and more challenging postures. Elke offers her creative flows with music that helps build the energy and momentum. Warm room & great community. Some Experience Necessary.

POWER Lunch with Sara  A vinyasa inspired class. Stretch, strengthen and challenge yourself. Expect core work and try a new pose you never thought you could do. This class is sweaty, fun, and athletic.

POWER Flow with Danielle A vigorous vinyasa practice in a heated room, where sequences are set to energizing music.  You will focus on connecting breath with movement, and will be encouraged to try new poses & build upon familiar ones.  You will work on balance, upper & lower body strength, flexibility, and your core.  Cues and modifications will be offered throughout class, making it appropriate for yogis at all levels to work hard & sweat. 

All Levels Vinyasa
A class offering mindful and fluid movements connected to breath. Cues and modifications for all levels and bodies. Detail and assistance from the instructor will keep you safer and help you see change in your practice. Gentle assists given if preferred. Class limited to 12; small enough so each student gets the space and attention they need/want.

GENTLE YOGA
This gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses, alignment principles, breath awareness and special breathing techniques. You will learn practices to improve flexibility, strength and balance while receiving instruction on the basics that will provide a platform for gradual advancement in your practice. More seasoned students will have the opportunity to strengthen their poses and build stamina. For everyone it will be a place to balance effort with ease in an atmosphere of playful joy that infuses each session. 


COMMUNITY YOGA
$5 Community Yoga (all levels): Historically, community yoga is a way for a newly certified instructor to test their craft and ‘get their feet wet’. Plus, at $5, community doesn’t let cost stand in the way of accessing yoga! For summer 2019, Community Yoga is a Hatha Yoga class that integrates skillful alignment and heart-centered philosophy, which encourages you to explore how the physical practice of yoga offers a deeper connection to the mind, body and heart. This style of yoga invites those who wish to improve strength, flexibility and balance through a flow of asanas linking movement with breath. Community Yoga is yoga for all to enjoy.
