Students please understand you may be around people who are not vaccinated. To respect privacy we will not ask students about their personal medical information. You will be asked if you are aware of, and ok with, these risks.
Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at any yoga event. The Marion Yoga Loft and Elke Pierre are hereby explaining your risk. We encourage you to follow the local policies, as well as local laws and restrictions. We'd like everyone to feel free and safe. Hopefully these options give you choices to feel both.

Policies
With respect and fairness to you we ask you to please honor these studio polices.
Cancellation policy
Cancel within 12 hours or you are still responsible for payment. This is critical during Covid because there are always waitlisted students who could come if you can not.
Class Card Expiration
All new class cards will expire 6 month after purchase. No Exception.
Belongings
Only yoga mats, water and towels allowed in the studio during class.
All other things with be stored before class: bags, jackets, cell phones, keys etc.
No Cell Phones During Class
Unless you have special circumstances.

JUST ENOUGH YOGA
Tuesdays 9am - 10am | with Elke
Appreciate and treasure the practice of yoga. Never too much. Perfect for first-timers and those who want just enough, not too much. This is a slow-moving practice with the goal of reducing tension in the body to relax the mind. In each class, we will explore a handful of common postures in depth. Elke uses clear language to help students find safe alignment and to notice how this affects the busy mind. Finish with a few restorative postures, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. This experience will be calming, mindful and complete.
This class is good for beginners and great for seasoned students who want to relearn, go deeper, and practice with attention to detail. This is not a vinyasa class; expect longer holds and hands-on assists (optional). Because this class is small each student will receive individual attention. Reiki Energy Healing in savanna if you wish.
HANDS-ON LEVEL TWO VINYASA
Wednesdays 9:30am - 10:30am | Elke
Class limit 12 students. Hands-on assists from Elke during class guaranteed. Assists can help to lightly correct small alignment details, and help you feel the subtle nuances of the body. Assists can also guide you deeper into postures and help you understand the postures 'destination'. Small class equals more assists. Flow, learn, challenge, strengthen. A challenging and creative vinyasa practice. Not fast; but thorough and fulfilling. (Hands-on and REIKI optional.)
CORE Yoga
Using yoga, balls, bands, barre inspired floor work and pilates we will build strength in shoulders, legs and core. This class includes a brief warm-up, 10 minutes of core, 5 -7 minutes (low impact) cardio, exercise bands to build strength, and ends with 20 minutes of yoga postures to stretch the muscles we just used. Safety is always a priority. Customizable to new and seasoned students. Class ends with a lovely heart opener in savasana and REIKI massage (optional).
LEVEL ONE VINAYSA
What is Yoga Flow? What is Vinyasa?
Have you always wanted to try but didnt know where to start?
Have you matured out of the faster paced Power Yoga?
Learning to follow the breath, move mindfully from one yoga posture into the next. Learn the sun salutations, the lingo, the alignment.
This class is slow, detailed, and complete. No need to rush or push. The richness of this class is found in the details, classic postures and simple sequences. You will learn the original structure of the most common flows; using a yoga mix of meditation, breath-work and philosophy.
As a teacher of Vinyasa for over 15 years, Elke’s teachings have slowed and matured. Please join her to learn, or re-learn, or return-to the flexibility and peacefulness that comes through calm flow. Questions and unique needs are encouraged. Props, chairs, hand-on-assists available if you prefer. This class can be modified to accommodate those with injuries, limitations, and questions.
Level 2 Vinyasa with Elke

A more advanced Vinyasa practice. Build towards stamina, strength and more challenging postures. Elke offers her creative flows with music that helps build the energy and momentum. Some experience helpful. Not for absolute beginners.

MONDAYS 6pm to 7:15pm
Our signature class. Get your groove on and join this hot and athletic yoga class. Elke's creative flows and playlists make it oh so right! Expect a vinyasa flow with a peak pose and/or core workout. Not too fast but with a terrific build to a steady flow to loose the monkey mind and connect to your calm and relaxed best-self. Not for beginners.
HIPS | HEART | HANDS

YOGA, MASSAGE & REIKI. A combination of breath, yoga, meditation, assists, massage and REIKI. ONE HOUR: warm yoga flow to open hips & shoulders. A creative combo of postures and breath to open our hearts and get start the warm glow in the belly. HALF HOUR: complete rest: Kim will provide leg and foot massage for everyone. Elke will provide neck and shoulder massage with a layer of Reiki Healing. They will wear masks while assisting. Masks not required by students.
